Two Wins!
I wanted to give a shout-out to two great blogs that offer great contests: The Review Stew and Luvs Jurn3. From the Review Stew I won a $10 gift card to Abby's Lane (free shipping from their site--I love that!) and from Luvs Jurn3 I won a generous $25 to Thanks Mama. I have never ordered from either, but I am very excited to do so! For all the people who exclaim "Cloth Diapers are so expensive," they clearly are not entering contests!

Contest Crazy
New to the diaper world, I am shocked at the number of opportunities for free diapers--Husband and I are currently crazed by the Great Cloth Diaper Hunt, and now I find that there is another month long diaper hunt in January, the Green Quiz Quest. So this leaves me to wonder: what is the overlap between cloth diapering and giveaways? I have to imagine that it is to large degree a thifty element--many of us are choosing to cloth diaper in order to save hard-earned money, and the thought of getting one precious cloth diaper for free is like fluffy diaper crack.

I Won Something!
When I first thought about cloth diapering, I never knew that there would be sweepstakes: it really is a little bit of Vegas rolled into (still theoretical) motherhood. After a week of contest entering, I am excited to say that I won a giveaway from The Inquisitive Mom (http://theinquisitivemom.blogspot.com/). I won a Knickernappies 2G diaper with a Loopy Do insert in Melon! Thank you to the Inquisitive Mom! Once both the diaper and our Little Bean arrive, I will happily post a review.

Theoretically, my favorite cloth diapers
30 Weeks Pregnant, and 19 cloth diapers in my stash! I feel like I have learned an amazing amount about cloth diapers in short amount of time: who knew it could have such cult-like appeal! I now stalk the web for diaper give-aways (I love free stuff!). I know defend my choice to resistant friends, but most interestingly, these are all still theoretical defenses as I have never put my beautiful fluff on a single baby's bum. So far, my favorite diapers? Fuzzibunz are so, so soft; the extra-smalls are adorable. How could my future little bean ever fit in these tiny, adorable diapers? I just got my first BumGenius diaper in the mail yesterday, and they seem amazingly expandable: a fortress of cloth. Finally, the Thirsties Duo Wrap in Blackbird is adorable. Who knew cloth diapers could be so (theoretically) adorable. Now I just need the baby to put them on!
